Situation in Ukraine
Following the horrific scenes in Ukraine over the past two weeks, we at London Higher, and at our forty member institutions across London, wanted to send a message of solidarity to all university staff, students and academics affected by this ongoing crisis.
As a community, we are appalled by the events being carried out in Ukraine, and we continue to look for practical ways to support Ukrainian universities now and in the future, in partnership with our counterparts around the world.
Across London, universities are facilitating opportunities for their communities – local, national and international – to come together to support each other and share their views respectfully, through activity on campus and other means.
Our members are also offering enhanced support though their student wellbeing teams, as well as their extenuating circumstances policies. Any staff member or student who is affected is able to contact their institution’s wellbeing team, who will be able to support them.
