Meghna Banerjee

Communications and Public Affairs Officer

Meghna supports the development and delivery of London Higher’s public affairs, communications and campaigns, helping to communicate key policy priorities, sector developments and member activity across a range of platforms. She works closely with colleagues, members and external stakeholders to develop clear, engaging and evidence-led communications that reflect the priorities of London’s higher education sector.

Since joining London Higher in January 2026, Meghna has contributed to a range of high-profile publications and campaigns, including co-editing London: The Higher Education Capital of the World publication, which was widely shared by the Mayor of London, the Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth, London & Partners and the GLA. She also supports communications and public affairs activity around major campaigns and events, including the Summer Shows 2026, and is involved in drafting and co-ordinating on London Higher’s bi-monthly London Lens newsletter.

Meghna holds an MSc in International Public Policy from University College London, where she specialised in the intersection of human security and technology.
