David Lindsley

Spearheaded one of the UK’s first large-scale CAD (computer-aided design) systems as Director of Engineering at Babcock subsidiary Bailey Meters and Controls.  He went on to set up his own consultancy practice in 1982, engineering complex control and instrumentation systems for the power, water, and marine industries, and ran this until his retirement in 2007.  Author of three novels – Far Point (winner of a major prize at the Engineering Media Awards), The Dark fall Switch and Blind to Danger.
