Blackpool in the dry, hot summer of 1976. In a crumbling guest house, three Webb sisters gather at their childhood home as their mother lies dying upstairs. Together, they await the arrival of their elusive fourth sister to say her goodbyes.

As children, the four Webb sisters were an aspiring close-harmony swing group with big dreams, managed, rehearsed and costumed by their mother Veronica. Now as adults, in a house together for the first time in twenty years, the past closes in as they reckon with the secrets, disappointments and betrayals that drove them apart.
