Study London campaign launches second phase with content on accommodation, transport and work experience

London, 13 January 2025 – Today, London Higher launches the second phase of the Study London campaign, introducing four compelling new videos that provide prospective students with authentic insights into student life in the United Kingdom’s vibrant capital city.

A comprehensive student experience unveiled

The latest video series offers a first-hand look at key aspects of studying in London, featuring real students sharing their personal experiences across four critical areas:

  1. Accommodation: A dive into student housing options, challenges, and strategies for finding the perfect living space in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
  2. Transport: An exploration of London’s extensive transportation network, demonstrating how students effectively move around the city.
  3. Work experience and career opportunities: A look at internship and part-time work possibilities in a range of sectors.
  4. A Day in the Life: A video following several students out and about on a day in their lives, providing a view of academic, social, and personal experiences in London.

“These videos represent our commitment to transparency and genuine representation,” said Dr Diana Beech, CEO of London Higher. “We want prospective students to have a true, unfiltered understanding of what it means to study and live in London and what better way to do this, than speak to London’s existing students. We are pleased to be able to launch this second phase of the campaign at a time when our universities need it the most.”

The new video series will be released on the Study London campaign’s official website, www.studylondon.ac.uk and primary social media channels, and we encourage all London universities to get involved from 13 January 2025 using the #StudyLondon hashtag and tagging @StudyLondon across social media platforms.
