Commenting on the Government’s Post-16 Education and Skills White Paper, London Higher’s Chief Executive Liz Hutchinson said:

London’s universities and specialist institutions are central to that global reputation for excellence – from outstanding teaching and student support, to world-class research and innovation.
“Our universities are in a strong position to realise the government’s vision, with a track record in supporting diverse learners, driving high quality research and innovation and equipping graduates with the skills that power the UK’s industries and public services – from the creative industries and life sciences to healthcare and beyond. The proposed measures on tuition fees and research funding will help address financial challenges and support future planning.
