London Higher response to the Draft London Plan
London Higher has responded to the Mayor’s draft London Plan, welcoming borough-level student housing targets while calling for clearer guidance to ensure they support, rather than restrict, new provision. The response highlights the need to protect affordable student accommodation, recognise the needs of students on longer courses, and better reflect the contribution of universities and specialist creative institutions to London’s skills, jobs and economy.
