London Healthcare and Medicine

London Higher’s Healthcare Education Group brings together strategic leads from higher education institutions (HEIs) providing nursing, midwifery and applied health sciences (AHP) courses in London. Working collaboratively with our members from Health Education England (HEE) our HEI members directly influence key NHS policy decisions that affect healthcare students in the capital.

London Medicine brings together the heads of all the capital’s undergraduate and postgraduate medical schools to work collegiately with Health Education England (HEE) and the Office for Students (OfS) on improving the experience of London’s medical students. They make long and short term strategic decisions on complex issues such as placement capacity and maintaining the quality of medical education whilst assisting with the pandemic response.
