London Higher has published its new strategy, London’s higher education sector into the 2030s, which sets out its vision for a sector that is locally loved, nationally valued and leading the world.
The strategy reflects a year of extensive engagement with member institutions, policymakers, partners and colleagues across Team London.
It sets out four strategic priorities:
- Embedding higher education at the heart of London’s future
- Showcasing and sustaining London as the higher education capital of the world
- Advocating for the sector’s value to the UK and beyond
- Strengthening collaboration and collective impact across the sector.
At its core is a commitment to harnessing the collective strength of London’s higher education sector, while championing the distinctive contribution of each member institution.
Liz Hutchinson, Chief Executive of London Higher, commented:
“This strategy sharpens our focus on the distinctive role London Higher can play in convening institutions, building partnerships beyond higher education, and championing the sector’s contribution to London and its impact far beyond the capital. We look forward to continuing to work with Team London to bring it to life.”
