Jessie Pettit

Founder of multiple film industry companies (USA), University of West London

Jessie grew up in Michigan, but came to London to study because she was looking for a sense of community. She studied film production at the University of West London, spending time during her degree on film sets and learning the art of production. Eventually, she started her own companies: The British Filming Touring Company and the London Film House. These companies travel around the UK seeking out people whose stories usually wouldn’t be told. Jessie is dedicated to changing the media landscape by helping people get their voices heard, all using the skills she learned at university.
