Reacting to the news of a Deal reached on the UK’s Exit from the EU, Dr Diana Beech, CEO of London Higher said;
“We welcome the news that a deal has been struck with our European partners. #LondonHE is international to its core and European staff and students are vital to the dynamism and diversity of our great city.
At London Higher, we are naturally disappointed about the lack of participation in Erasmus+, but we trust the Government will now work with London Higher and higher education providers to roll out a suitable domestic alternative mobility scheme.
We are hopeful that today’s deal will go a long way to reassuring our European friends and partners that London’s universities and higher education colleges remain dedicated research partners of choice, as well as welcoming study and work options.”
